Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, supporting hygiene, mobility, and comfort
- Assist nursing staff with vital signs, ADLs, and documentation in a timely manner
- Communicate observations and resident needs clearly to the care team
- Support a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
- Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain quality care standards
Qualifications
- Active LNA certification in good standing (required)
- Willingness to complete facility orientation (orientation is provided)
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused approach to care
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
- Basic documentation and communication skills; team player attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current LNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of ADLs, basic clinical observations, and resident safety practices
- Ability to follow care plans and report changes in resident condition
- Good interpersonal skills for resident and family interactions
- Time management skills to balance care tasks during long shifts
