Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and guide hospital staff in applying policies, procedures, and best practices with confidence
• Coordinate patient flow and nursing resources to ensure timely, high-quality care
• Organize workflow and delegate tasks so teams know their priorities each shift
• Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and performance oversight to promote staff development
• Make administrative decisions in collaboration with clinical leaders and the CNO
• Work closely with charge nurses and support staff to resolve patient and family concerns
• Monitor employee productivity and initiate projects to improve efficiency and patient experience

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Montana (required)
• Minimum 3 years experience as an RN in a hospital setting with recent ICU experience
• CPR required; ACLS and PALS required or must be obtained within 6 months
• Proven leadership experience in patient flow, resource nurse, or nurse leadership roles
• Comfortable operating advanced medical equipment and multiple IV pumps

Education

• Degree from a Nursing Program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of advanced nursing principles and post-operative care
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, ventilator support, A-lines, invasive lines, and chest tubes
• Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Teamwork-minded with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization
• Experience with patient flow management and resource allocation
• Ability to initiate and develop special projects to improve clinical operations
