Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of CT procedures safely and efficiently, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
Provide compassionate patient care before, during, and after CT exams, explaining procedures clearly and addressing concerns
Operate and maintain CT equipment, following safety protocols and infection control practices
Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to review images and support diagnostic needs
Document procedures, patient history, and imaging results accurately in the medical record
Lift and position patients as needed while observing standard precautions and patient safety guidelines

Qualifications

Current Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license (required)
Current CT certification from ARRT (Computed Tomography) (required)
Current BLS certification (required)
Preferred: At least 1 year of CT experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with medical staff and patients

Education

Current Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license
ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
BLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of CT imaging procedures and protocols
Solid foundation in radiologic technology and patient care best practices
Understanding of anatomy and physiology to assist with image optimization and patient communication
Ability to follow radiation safety standards and infection control procedures
Good manual dexterity, observation skills, and ability to handle physical demands of the role
