Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage ventilator settings and provide expert ventilator management for patients
• Perform respiratory assessments and develop individualized respiratory care plans
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment such as Servo I, GE V60, Airvo and Vapotherm
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and STABLE/NRP protocols when needed
• Document patient care accurately and timely in Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide patient and family education on respiratory therapies and equipment

Qualifications

• NRP or STABLE certification required
• BLS and ACLS required
• ICU experience preferred
• Two or more years of relevant respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
• Proven experience with ventilator management and advanced respiratory equipment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong ventilator management and airway skills
• Experience with Servo I, GE V60, Airvo and Vapotherm devices
• Working knowledge of Meditech electronic medical record
• Critical care and ICU respiratory therapy practices
• Excellent assessment, clinical decision making and communication skills
