Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct and indirect nursing care to long-term and rehab residents on night shift
• Administer and monitor IV therapy and oversee wound care interventions
• Perform geriatric assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents
• Manage care for residents with dementia/Alzheimer’s using verbal and non-verbal communication techniques
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe transitions and quality rehabilitation services
• Document clinical care accurately and timely to maintain continuity and compliance
• Float to other units as needed to support unit staffing and resident needs

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Valid State of Maine RN license or compact RN license required
• 1–3 years RN experience preferred (post-acute, long-term care, or rehab experience helpful)
• Familiarity with IV therapy, wound care, geriatric assessment and rehabilitation nursing
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to cover 24/7 and to float between units as needed
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred
