Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, efficient patient care as a front-line Certified Medical Assistant
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient observations accurately
• Prepare patients and assist clinicians during exams and minor procedures
• Administer injections and perform routine clinical tasks as directed within scope
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic health record
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with the care team to keep the clinic running smoothly
• Support infection control, safety protocols, and clinic cleanliness to protect patients and staff
• Engage patients with respect and clear communication to enhance the care experience

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
• Ability to work 40 hours per week with weekend availability as required
• Comfortable working rotating day and evening shifts
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with diverse patient populations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to a rotating clinic schedule

Education

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training
• High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical skills: taking vitals, phlebotomy basics, patient preparation
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Patient-focused communication and customer service skills
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy clinic environment
• Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
