Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and regulatory standards
• Operate imaging equipment and manage image processing and transmission to PACS
• Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring safety, privacy, and comfort during imaging
• Participate in performance improvement and quality control activities to maintain high standards
• Comply with State, Federal, CMS, HFAP and TJC regulations and facility policies
• Communicate clearly with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support imaging needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely reporting of results and images

Qualifications

• Current CRT issued by CDPH (required)
• ARRT (Radiography) certification (required)
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Graduate of a JRCERT or ABHES accredited radiography program
• Must obtain fluoroscopy permit (CDPH) within 6 months of hire
• Must obtain venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire
• DCI/BVP and relevant facility-required certifications as indicated
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with PACS workflow
• Willingness to complete required health screenings and immunizations

Education

• Graduate of a JRCERT or ABHES accredited radiography program

Knowledge & Skills

• Diagnostic radiographic procedures and protocol knowledge
• PACS operation and image transmission
• Image processing and quality control (PI/QC) fundamentals
• Patient care best practices and infection control
• Regulatory compliance: State and Federal, CMS, HFAP, TJC
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficient computer literacy for clinical systems
