Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days as scheduled), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in a rehab/health setting
Perform thorough assessments and communicate clinical findings clearly
Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery
Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and charting standards

Qualifications

Current and valid RN or LPN license for New Mexico (RN preferred for this posting)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required immunizations
Comfort working in a rehab/post-acute care environment; strong patient-centered focus
Dependable, flexible, and able to work per-diem shifts as scheduled

Education

LPN: Diploma or Practical Nursing certificate
RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in medication administration, wound care, and patient assessments
Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
Basic rehab knowledge and experience supporting mobility and ADL goals
