Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
• Perform thorough assessments and communicate changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient care clearly in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Support triage, screenings, and interventions as part of the MST role
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies calmly and effectively

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience working as an RN — previous MST or night-shift experience is a plus
• Ability to work per diem night shifts and adapt to variable schedules
• Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, monitoring, and care planning
• Proficient with medication administration and documentation
• Comfortable with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Team-oriented communicator who supports colleagues and patients
• Ability to prioritize, triage, and respond to emergent situations
