Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients — assist with activities of daily living with dignity and respect
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately and promptly
• Support safe patient transfers and positioning, using proper body mechanics
• Communicate clearly with nurses and the care team about patient status and needs
• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients
• Document care activities thoroughly to ensure continuity and quality of care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (required)
• Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working a 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Compassionate patient-first attitude and strong communication skills
• Previous direct care experience preferred but enthusiastic, motivated new CNAs are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient care basics and activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
• Familiarity with infection control best practices
• Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
