Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during assigned shifts
Assess, monitor, and document patient status accurately and promptly
Administer medications and treatments safely according to protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up
Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times
Respond effectively to urgent situations and escalate when necessary

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (California licensure expected for practice in-state)
Experience or interest in MST specialty work is a strong plus
BLS certification required; ACLS or other specialty certifications preferred when applicable
Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; reliable and professional

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
Proficiency with medication administration and IV therapy
Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
Familiarity with MST-related care considerations or willingness to learn quickly
Able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
Empathetic bedside manner and patient education skills
