Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to plan
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and update care plans
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
Educate patients and families about condition, plan of care, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Experience or comfort working in a telemetry environment
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently on per diem shifts and integrate quickly with teams

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms
Safe medication administration and IV therapy skills
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
Accurate and timely electronic health record documentation
Prioritization and time management in a fast-paced setting
