Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist residents with daily living activities
• Support patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility needs
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to nursing staff
• Assist with feeding and ensure dietary needs are met as instructed
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures
• Document care provided in resident charts and communicate effectively with the care team
• Build rapport with residents and offer emotional support to patients and families

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and assisting with ADLs
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude with clinical teams
• Previous CNA experience preferred but new CNAs who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient hygiene needs
• Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
• Understanding of infection prevention and basic safety protocols
• Compassionate bedside manner and excellent interpersonal skills
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Time management and the ability to work well in a fast-paced clinical environment
