Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (variable days), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care for patients with dignity and respect
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Measure and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the nursing team
Maintain accurate, timely documentation to support patient care plans
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe patient outcomes
Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures
Build trusting relationships with patients and their families through clear communication

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Current PA CNA registry certification or eligibility preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working overnight shifts and flexible per diem assignments
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and compassionate bedside manner
Vital signs collection and basic clinical observations
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
Accurate documentation and time management
Teamwork, situational awareness, and clear communication
