Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and patient interactions
• Support patient mobility and fall-prevention measures to ensure safety
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Adhere to infection control policies and facility protocols to keep everyone safe
• Respond promptly to call lights and urgent needs with calm professionalism

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — Pennsylvania certification preferred or eligible
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
• Comfortable working night shifts and flexible per-diem schedules
• Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
• Compassionate bedside manner, reliable, and a team player

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong fundamentals in basic patient care and ADLs
• Vital signs measurement and documentation accuracy
• Basic infection control and safe patient handling techniques
• Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Time management, attention to detail, and dependable attendance
