Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility to promote patient comfort and dignity
• Collect and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
• Document care thoroughly and promptly in accordance with facility policies
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
• Support safe patient transfers and positioning to reduce risk of injury
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in unit activities and training to continuously improve care delivery

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
• Compassionate, patient-focused attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings is a plus

Education

• State-approved CNA certification
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety principles
• Basic computer skills for documentation and charting
