Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting daily living activities
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting while preserving dignity
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and timely in the patient's chart
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff
• Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in Pennsylvania
• Comfortable working the 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shift
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills, compassion, and a team-player attitude

Education

• Completion of a state-approved CNA program or equivalent training

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in activities of daily living support and resident-centered care
• Proficient with taking and recording vital signs
• Familiarity with basic charting and electronic health records
• Understanding of infection control and hygiene best practices
• Good time management and ability to prioritize in a busy clinical setting
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
