Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and toileting while preserving dignity
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
• Support safe patient transfers and positioning to prevent injury
• Communicate clearly and courteously with patients, families, and staff to coordinate care
• Adhere to infection control protocols and facility policies to keep patients safe

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Active authorization to work in Pennsylvania (must meet state requirements)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility guidelines
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Comfort working nights and in a fast-paced care environment
• Previous CNA experience preferred but motivated new CNAs are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong fundamentals in patient care and activities of daily living
• Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
• Good clinical documentation and reporting skills
• Customer-service mindset with empathy and effective communication
• Teamwork and collaboration within a multidisciplinary care team
• Basic infection control and safety practices
