Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
• Support safe mobility and transfers while following proper body mechanics
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and adhere to infection control practices
• Communicate clearly with the care team and document care in a timely manner
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families to enhance comfort and dignity

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential – PA certification preferred or eligible
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working night shifts and available for per-diem scheduling
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong teamwork skills
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental patient care skills and ADL assistance
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Safe transfer and positioning techniques
• Basic infection control and PPE use
• Clear verbal and written communication with clinical teams
• Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
