Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — support ADLs like bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe transfers and positioning to maintain comfort and prevent injury
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies to protect residents and staff
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to promote excellent care
• Support a warm, respectful environment that values resident dignity and independence

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania (required)
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• Willingness to submit to background check and required health screenings
• Reliable attendance and ability to work night shifts as scheduled
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Completion of an accredited CNA program (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Clear, respectful communication and teamwork
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Familiarity with basic charting and documentation best practices
