Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility safely
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Support nursing team with vital signs, documentation, and patient comfort
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control practices
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or equivalent where applicable)
• Comfortable with hands-on patient care and safe transfer techniques
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by the facility
• Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or required by some facilities
• Previous CNA experience is a plus, but enthusiastic beginners are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and bedside manner
• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, feeding, toileting, mobility assistance
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
• Good documentation and basic charting skills
• Teamwork, time management, and reliable attendance
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
