Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that preserves dignity
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Support safe patient transfers and follow infection control practices
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to help implement care plans

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain promptly)
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Previous CNA experience preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living
• Comfortable performing vital signs and basic clinical observations
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety protocols
• Basic charting and documentation skills, whether electronic or paper
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
