Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (varied days), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and dignity-focused support to residents
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
Monitor and accurately document vital signs, behaviors and conditions
Communicate clearly with the nursing team and report changes in resident status
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Support residents' comfort and social needs, promoting independence when possible

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or equivalent) — Pennsylvania certification preferred or eligibility to obtain
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Comfortable working in long-term care or skilled nursing settings; previous experience a plus
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA credential

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident-centered care
Basic charting and documentation skills
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility
Compassionate interpersonal skills and patience with older adults
