Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and compassion
• Provide safe, high-quality bedside care and ensure resident comfort and safety
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
• Take and record vital signs and assist with basic clinical tasks as directed
• Maintain accurate documentation and support care-plan implementation
• Collaborate with the care team to create a positive experience for residents and families

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Valid CPR/BLS certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient hygiene, mobility assistance, and safe transfer techniques
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection prevention and control practices
• Effective, compassionate communication with residents and families
• Time management and teamwork in a clinical setting
