Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform Special Procedures and assist in Interventional Radiology cases with precision and care
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and procedural equipment to ensure patient safety
• Operate and troubleshoot radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment during procedures
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and condition during procedures, communicating changes promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and the procedural team to deliver timely, high-quality care
• Document procedures, contrast usage and patient information accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Recent hands-on experience in Interventional Radiology (required)
• ARRT certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Ability to meet Regional West travel performance expectations (contracts may be terminated for not meeting standards)
• Willingness to work as a travel technologist and adapt to facility processes quickly

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in Interventional Radiology procedures and special procedures workflow
• Strong knowledge of radiographic/fluoroscopic imaging principles
• Sterile technique and infection control practices
• Patient monitoring and safety during procedural sedation and interventions
• Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Equipment setup, calibration and minor troubleshooting
