Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and stabilize patients quickly and confidently in emergency situations
• Perform triage to prioritize care and ensure timely treatment for the sickest patients
• Provide acute and trauma care, applying critical thinking under pressure
• Supervise and guide clinical staff on the acute care floor to maintain high-quality care
• Document patient status, interventions, and communications clearly and professionally
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and disposition

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current California RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Emergency Room Nurse
• ACLS, PALS, and CPR certification required
• TNCC required within one year of hire
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, written and oral communication skills
• Able to work collaboratively across departments and maintain confidentiality

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
