Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopy equipment safely and effectively during cath lab and interventional radiology procedures
• Prepare imaging systems and ensure all equipment is functioning and properly sterilized
• Assist the interventional team by positioning patients and obtaining high-quality diagnostic images
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and support ACLS/BLS protocols as needed
• Maintain accurate procedure documentation and imaging records
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control practices
• Participate in competency exams and specialty checklists to maintain clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Valid Fluoroscopy license (as required by state) and ARRT/AART credential preferred
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Prior experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology required
• Completion of required screenings: drug test, TB/PPD, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Fit Test, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
• Willingness to complete Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam during onboarding

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of fluoroscopic imaging and radiation safety principles
• Familiarity with cath lab and interventional radiology procedures and workflow
• Skilled in patient positioning, sterile technique, and procedural support
• Proficient in monitoring and responding to patient status during procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills in high-acuity clinical settings
• Comfortable with documentation and electronic medical record entries for imaging studies
