Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform patient assessments and prepare patients for CT procedures with compassion and professionalism
• Follow imaging protocols and safety guidelines to ensure accurate, safe studies
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment
• Document procedures and maintain patient records in the EMR (Meditech)
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, escalating issues as needed
• Provide patient education and clear communication to reduce anxiety and improve compliance
• Work independently and adapt to changing unit needs across day and night shifts

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience (as listed)
• Familiarity with CT protocols and safety practices; experience with GE Discovery 450 is a plus
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Meditech, preferred
• ACLS, RT (T), ASRT, or FASRT certifications are nice to have
• Ability to work independently, be flexible, and cover weekends and nights

Knowledge & Skills

• Computed Tomography (CT) imaging expertise
• Working knowledge of MRI and X-Ray procedures
• Experience with GE Discovery 450 equipment
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR documentation
• Strong patient positioning and radiation safety practices
• Critical thinking and independent decision-making in fast-paced settings
• Good communication and teamwork skills with clinical staff and radiologists
