Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and support for daily living activities
Assist patients with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility needs
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Perform routine clinical tasks such as vital signs and basic documentation
Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful patient environment
Collaborate with nurses and care team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
Valid state-required license or registration as applicable
BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Previous clinical or long-term care experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent recommended
Active CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observations
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
Clear charting and delegated task documentation
Teamwork, time management, and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
Compassionate patient interaction and family communication
