Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum nursing care in a family-centered environment
• Continuously monitor fetal status and interpret fetal monitoring strips to support safe deliveries
• Perform neonatal stabilization and newborn care, coordinating care with the nursery team
• Triage obstetric patients, prioritize care needs, and escalate appropriately
• Assist with GYN surgical care and support perioperative needs when required
• Educate and support birthing families, offering compassionate guidance during labor and recovery
• Document patient care accurately and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider level BLS required
• AHA ACLS and NRP required
• Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required
• Experience in triage, labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings required
• STABLE certification preferred; experience stabilizing high-risk neonates preferred
