Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility support
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team
Follow infection control standards and facility policies to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass required background and health screenings
Strong bedside manner and patient-focused attitude
Reliable attendance and ability to work a scheduled per-diem shift
Prior experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable providing direct patient care and assisting with ADLs
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Ability to follow care plans and report observations accurately
Adaptability to fast-paced clinical environments
