Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients
Continuously assess patient status and respond quickly to changes
Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform complex nursing interventions
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize care plans
Document patient care accurately and communicate handoffs clearly at shift change
Support families with clear, empathetic communication during critical moments

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) strongly preferred
Previous ICU nursing experience (preferred) with comfort managing ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring
Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to fast-paced critical care environments
Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care assessment and monitoring
Familiarity with ventilator management and advanced hemodynamic support
IV medication administration and titration
Electronic medical record documentation
Ability to prioritize and multitask in high-acuity settings
