Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Assess patient condition, record observations, and communicate changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Respond to emergencies and escalate care as appropriate
• Document patient care and interventions thoroughly and professionally
• Support patients and families with clear communication and empathy

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California required
• Experience working as an RN, with MST experience or specialty exposure preferred
• Current BLS; ACLS and other specialty certifications preferred where applicable
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently on per diem night shifts and collaborate with team members

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Diploma in Nursing; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and acute care practices
• Proficiency with medication administration and nursing documentation
• Ability to prioritize care and manage multiple patients overnight
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety standards
