Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Maintain clear, timely documentation to ensure continuity of care
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, patients, and families to promote patient comfort and dignity
Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful care environment for all patients

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of California (required)
CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtain upon hire if required)
Proven ability to provide patient-centered, compassionate care
Current immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
Professional, dependable, and able to work independently on per diem shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and infection control practices
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable using electronic health record systems for documentation
Good observational skills and the ability to escalate patient concerns appropriately
