Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies for trauma, stroke, emergency room, and inpatient exams
• Operate and optimize GE CT equipment (GE 64 Rev Evo, GE 128 Rev EVO) for multimodality imaging
• Provide compassionate patient care and effective communication in fast-paced emergency settings
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in Meditech
• Collaborate with emergency and trauma teams to prioritize urgent imaging needs
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and department policies to protect patients and staff
• Maintain equipment and report any technical or QA issues promptly

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current CPR certification required
• SCRQSA certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT imaging experience (as listed in posting)
• Comfortable working weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Experience with trauma, stroke, and emergency radiology preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT protocols and multimodality imaging
• Experience with emergency and trauma imaging workflows
• Skilled in patient positioning and contrast administration for CT exams
• Familiarity with GE CT scanner platforms listed by the site
• Good clinical judgment and ability to prioritize in high-acuity situations
• Effective communication skills with physicians, nurses, and patients
• Proficiency with Meditech or similar documentation systems
