Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of CT procedures accurately and safely, putting patient care first
Provide compassionate patient care during imaging procedures, explaining steps clearly
Operate and maintain CT equipment while following safety and infection-control protocols
Collaborate with medical staff by communicating imaging findings and patient needs
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation with attention to detail
Uphold quality assurance practices and participate in continuing improvement efforts
Assist patients with positioning and safe transfers while following lifting precautions

Qualifications

Current Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist (required)
Current CT certification through ARRT (required)
Current BLS certification (required)
One (1) year of CT experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting/assisting patients up to 50 pounds

Education

Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license and CT (ARRT) certification; BLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

Computed Tomography (CT) procedures and safety
Anatomy and physiology knowledge to support effective imaging and communication
Patient-centered care and comfort techniques
Detail-oriented documentation and record keeping
Basic infection control and workplace safety practices
Manual dexterity and the ability to operate imaging equipment
