Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care in a psychiatric setting
Monitor and support patients' daily needs and emotional well-being
Assist with activities of daily living while ensuring safety and comfort
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional care
Document patient progress and observations with precision and care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in California
Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health preferred
Current BLS certification
Compassionate demeanor with strong patient interaction skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding environment

Education

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Psychiatric patient care techniques
Vital signs monitoring and basic medical procedures
Crisis intervention and de-escalation methods
Excellent communication and empathy
Attention to detail in documentation
