Roles & Responsibilities

Partner with residents and care providers to build safe, comforting environments
Deliver direct and indirect care tailored to individual needs
Utilize verbal and non-verbal communication for Alzheimer's and dementia residents
Provide skilled nursing services including IV therapy and wound care in rehab settings
Support long-term care in a home-like atmosphere on dedicated units

Qualifications

Valid State of Maine or compact Licensed Practical Nurse license
1-3 years previous LPN experience preferred
Flexibility to float between units and cover varied shifts

Education

Associates in Nursing or Graduate of Maine State Board approved LPN course

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork to thrive in collaborative care settings
Excellent communication skills for resident interactions
Medical terminology knowledge
Understanding of dementia behaviors and rehab nursing
