Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare patients for Nuclear Medicine studies and deliver high-quality diagnostic scans following established protocols
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized equipment like gamma cameras and dose calibrators
Ensure a clean, organized work area and provide coverage to keep operations smooth
Participate in teaching and instructional activities to support team growth
Safely care for patients of all ages with tailored clinical responses

Qualifications

Current Hawaii license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Current BLS/HCP certification
One year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred

Education

Suitable for new graduates

Knowledge & Skills

Nuclear medicine physics
Radiopharmaceutical administration
Safety protocols
Equipment operation including dose calibrator, gamma camera, survey meters, well counter, and thyroid uptake probe
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
