Roles & Responsibilities

Identify patient and family education needs and deliver it with the perfect approach
Champion patient safety using preventative measures like side rails and equipment protocols
Master safe operation and troubleshooting of all PCU, Telemetry, and MedSurg equipment
Implement top-notch infection control and isolation procedures with precise documentation
Maintain spot-on, timely documentation of patient status, interventions, and responses
Execute physician orders accurately and give seamless shift reports to keep care flowing
Communicate effectively across departments and report critical labs without delay
Keep emergency carts and supplies stocked and ready for action

Qualifications

Active Washington RN license required
Experienced in MedSurg and PCU with willingness to flex across departments
Ready for quick start in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital environment

Education

RN licensure with active Washington state license

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in patient education modalities
Proficiency with telemetry and PCU equipment troubleshooting
Strong infection control and standard precautions practices
Accurate documentation and order management skills
Clear communication and critical value reporting
