Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver full-time physical therapy to diverse clients from pediatric to geriatric across orthopedics, neurology, vestibular, and wound care
Provide inpatient and outpatient care, home care, and community outreach in a hospital-based outpatient clinic
Travel to villages to extend care to remote Alaskan communities
Adhere to Physical Therapy standards, JCAHO, OSHA, and corporate policies while applying age-specific and culturally sensitive care
Collaborate with physicians and medical staff as a key team member

Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Licensed in good standing in Alaska as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification
Hospital-based experience helpful

Education

Master's degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication skills to connect with physicians, staff, clients, and diverse cultures including non-English speakers
Mathematical abilities for computing rates, ratios, and interpreting graphs
Reasoning skills to solve practical problems in varied situations
Language proficiency to read professional journals, write reports, and present effectively
