Roles & Responsibilities

Screen disorders of speech to make a real difference in patient recovery
Diagnose and treat language disorders with compassion and expertise
Evaluate and address cognitive challenges to enhance patient independence
Assess swallowing disorders ensuring safe nutrition and hydration
Provide professional consultations collaborating with top-tier medical teams

Qualifications

Current Hawaii State license as a Speech Language Pathologist
Current ASHA certification
Current CPR BLS/HCP certification
Completion of FEES course (within 6 months if not upon hire)
Preferred: 1+ year acute care experience, FEES clinical experience, MBS ImP

Education

Advanced degree in Speech Language Pathology

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in adult swallowing evaluation and treatment
Skilled in communication evaluation and treatment
Proficient in cognitive evaluation and treatment
Familiar with FEES and MBS ImP procedures
