Location: Gunnison, Colorado

Start Date: 05-18-2026

End Date: 08-17-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Three to four 10-hour shifts per week with call (1-2 days call per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks)

Hours per Week: 30

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and direct comprehensive patient care during pre-operative and post-operative phases
Monitor physiological patient responses with precision and care
Execute all aspects of surgical patient care as a vital team member
Evaluate patient outcomes to ensure top-notch recovery experiences
Stay proficient in current nursing practices and adapt to new procedures

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Proficiency in PACU nursing
Experience in pre-operative and post-operative care
Commitment to professional nursing standards and ongoing education

Education

Registered Nurse (RN) degree with current licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in pre-operative patient care
Skilled in post-operative recovery support
Strong patient monitoring abilities
Knowledge of surgical team dynamics
