Roles & Responsibilities

Train users on EHR and clinical systems using creative methods like classroom sessions and live video
Configure and optimize clinical content partnering with medical staff for top-notch patient care
Triage user issues swiftly directing them to the right experts
Update application content with the latest tests meds and codes keeping everything current
Assess and enhance clinical processes aligning with best practices that make a real difference
Collaborate with IT teams vendors and SEARHC staff to drive improvements

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse License in Alaska required
Basic Life Support certification
Minimum 5 years in a medical setting with clinical experience preferred
Minimum 2 years with clinical information systems
Minimum 1 year with computer technology
BSN preferred plus Clinical Informatics training a plus
Inpatient and teaching experience welcomed

Education

BSN preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Advanced degree may substitute for experience

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in clinical applications EHR and information systems
Knowledge of scheduling radiology laboratory and document scanning systems
Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills
Problem-solving prowess with good judgment
Ability to work independently or in teams across diverse sites
