Roles & Responsibilities

• Orchestrate outpatient surgical schedules for 20 surgeons across specialties, keeping everything running smoothly
• Act as the vital liaison between surgeons offices, patients, anesthesia, and clinical staff
• Masterfully manage adjustments, cancellations, and same-day add-ons for optimal patient flow
• Collaborate with leadership to maximize case volume and room utilization
• Maintain precise scheduling data and ensure top compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and accreditation standards
• Deliver outstanding customer service as the welcoming face of the ASC
• Tackle additional duties with flexibility in a dynamic surgical setting

Qualifications

• Experience in surgical scheduling or outpatient surgery center operations preferred
• Strong organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication for liaising with diverse teams and patients
• Familiarity with scheduling systems and regulatory standards like HIPAA a plus

Education

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelors degree in healthcare administration preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in coordinating complex schedules and block utilization
• Keen attention to detail for accurate data management
• Customer service expertise with a patient-first mindset
• Adaptability and sound judgment under pressure
