Roles & Responsibilities

Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments essential for surgical procedures and patient care
Perform daily biological and sterile supply testing while maintaining accurate logs
Organize and direct instrument needs throughout the facility to keep operations smooth
Assist with endoscopy procedures and support clinical teams as needed
Stock and order supplies to ensure the unit is always ready
Collaborate across departments to champion patient safety and clear communication

Qualifications

CRCST or CER certification required
Bilingual in Spanish preferred for enhanced patient communication

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in SPD practices following AVH policies, AORN, AAMI, HSPA, and CER standards
Strong organizational skills for managing instrument distribution
Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to support various department roles
