Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to mental health patients during overnight shifts
Monitor and assess patient conditions with expertise and empathy
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create impactful treatment plans
Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for those who need it most
Advocate for patient needs and promote recovery journeys

Qualifications

Active RN license in California
Experience in mental health unit (MHU) or behavioral health preferred
BLS certification required
Strong communication and crisis intervention skills

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in psychiatric nursing practices
De-escalation techniques and therapeutic communication
Patient assessment and medication administration
Team collaboration in high-acuity settings
