Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Masterfully process cytology specimens with precision and care
Prepare and stain slides to uncover vital insights
Screen PAPs and non-GYN slides, aiming for 40-80 per day
Perform molecular testing on PAP vials for accurate diagnostics
Handle grossing tasks to support seamless lab operations
Assist with specimen collection when needed
Maintain accurate computerized patient records for top-notch care

Qualifications

Cytotechnologist CT (ASCP) certification required
At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Cytotechnologist
Associate degree required, bachelors preferred
Proven ability to screen 60-80 slides daily with high accuracy

Education

Graduate from an ABHES accredited school of cytotechnology or equivalent approved by HHS
Associate degree required; bachelors degree preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cytology processing, preparation, and staining
Skilled in screening PAPs and non-GYN slides
Proficient in molecular testing and grossing
Strong knowledge of cytotechnology lab operations
Comfortable with computerized patient records
