Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8 hour day shifts, flexible start times

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $95 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and manage schedules and timecards for over 60 FTE across 5 dynamic perioperative units
Respond swiftly to incident reports and escalate staff issues for seamless operations
Coordinate supply procurement based on physician needs to keep everything running smoothly
Conduct patient service recovery to ensure exceptional care experiences
Round on patients and assist as needed while overseeing throughput and bed management
Collaborate with nurse shift managers and director to drive daily excellence

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA)
BSN required
Minimum 2 years perioperative experience and 1 year in management
Experience in union environments preferred
Travel nursing experience a plus

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in perioperative services including PACU, PAT, AOU, PCU, and Endoscopy
Proficiency with Cerner charting system preferred
Strong leadership in managing large teams
Skilled in staff scheduling, incident management, and patient throughput
