Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts, 0630-1830 days or 1830-0630 nights, every other weekend, 2 out of 3 major holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to adults and peds patients in a fast-paced Med Surg ICU
Titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
Monitor and interpret Draeger telemetry strips independently
Manage complex cases including respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, and cardiogenic shock
Collaborate with charge nurses, techs, and providers during RRTs and codes
Float to inpatient units to support system-wide needs

Qualifications

Active RN license
2 years recent ICU experience
Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Driver's license for radius rule verification

Education

Knowledge & Skills

EPIC charting proficiency
Critical thinking and real-time learning for advanced monitoring like CVPs, A-lines, Swans, and ICP
Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
Team-oriented with positive attitude and willingness to ask questions
